The Dream Housing Colony is designed to provide modern single-bedroom flats for low-income families. Officials said the initiative will significantly improve living standards by ensuring access to safe and structured housing.
The housing colony will feature:
Single-bedroom residential units
Green spaces and landscaped community areas
Primary health centre
School with modern infrastructure
Drinking water supply and electrification
Authorities emphasized that the project is built to support sustainable and community-centric living.
The housing scheme was initially proposed during Uttam Kumar Reddy’s earlier tenure but faced delays. It has now been revived and fast-tracked, with officials instructed to complete all pending infrastructure within the deadline.
The project specifically targets economically weaker families, labourers, and rural households in surrounding regions.
Beneficiaries will be selected through a transparent system
Monitoring will be done by the Revenue Divisional Officer
Around 1,000 beneficiaries will be finalized in the first phase
Officials stated that strict screening will ensure only eligible applicants receive housing benefits.
The total project cost is estimated at ₹125 crore, including infrastructure such as roads, utilities, and plantation. The government aims to deliver a fully functional residential ecosystem rather than just housing units.
The launch event will include a public gathering and community meal, highlighting social inclusion and collective progress among beneficiaries.
The Huzurnagar Dream Housing Colony launch 2026 marks a significant milestone in Telangana’s push for affordable housing schemes. With over 2,000 flats, modern amenities, and transparent allocation, the project reinforces the state’s commitment to inclusive urban development.
