The Hoskote City Municipal Council (CMC) in Bengaluru Rural district has announced a major commercial shop e-auction for the financial year 2026-27. A total of 102 shops located across various municipal complexes, market roads and IDSMT commercial buildings will be leased through the Karnataka government’s e-procurement platform.
According to the official notification issued on May 22, 2026, the online bidding process will be conducted on June 17, 2026, between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM. The shops are available on a 12-year lease basis.

Several shops have also been reserved for SC, ST and Physically Challenged persons as per government norms.

Apart from large commercial spaces, many smaller units between 81 sq.ft and 165 sq.ft are available with comparatively lower deposits.
The minimum deposit amount in the auction starts from approximately ₹77,500 for select reserved-category shops.

Existing tenants of municipal commercial complexes have been given the benefit of “Right of First Refusal” under Karnataka government guidelines. Eligible current occupants can either participate in the auction or exercise the first refusal option by submitting required documents before June 8, 2026.

The selected bidders will receive shop allotment for a maximum period of 12 years. As per government rules, rent may be revised by 10% every three years.
