Haryana Govt Orders 41 BS-VI Trucks for Police, Deal Worth ₹53.26 Crore*

Panchkula:
The Haryana government has placed a major supply order for 41 BS-VI compliant trucks to strengthen law and order operations across the state. The order has been issued by the Director General, Supplies & Disposals (DGS&D), Haryana, in favour of M/s V.E. Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.

The trucks are being procured against condemned vehicles for police duty and will be supplied to the Director General of Police, Haryana.

Delayed payments will attract penal interest of ₹25 per ₹1 lakh per day beyond the stipulated credit period.

 Inspection Protocol

All vehicles will be inspected at the supplier’s premises by Haryana Police representatives before delivery.

Failure to meet specifications may attract penalties:

  • 1st failure: 0.1% of total order value

  • 2nd failure: 0.25%

  • 3rd failure: Risk purchase, forfeiture of security, blacklisting

 Delay in Delivery Penalty

  • 2% penalty per month per delayed consignment, calculated on the value of undelivered stores.

 Price Fall Clause

The supplier must ensure that prices charged are not higher than those offered to any State/Central Government or GeM during the contract period. Any price reduction elsewhere must be passed on to Haryana as well.

The supply order has been issued by the Joint Director, DGS&D, Haryana, on behalf of the Governor of Haryana.
