Cities Covered: Housing will be available across 20 locations in 13 cities of Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, and others.
Affordable Pricing: Houses are being offered at an attractive price starting from just ₹9 lakh.
Ahmedabad Special Scheme: In Ahmedabad, beneficiaries can avail a 1BHK flat equipped with modern amenities for just ₹10.50 lakh.
Application Process: Eligible applicants can apply through the official website of the Gujarat Housing Board — gujarathousingboard.gujarat.gov.in — starting from August 25, 2025.
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) was launched with the vision of ensuring “Housing for All”, especially for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Low-Income Groups (LIG). Over the years, crores of families have already been allotted homes under this mission across the country.
This announcement is being seen as a golden opportunity for families in Gujarat who dream of owning a home but are constrained by high property prices. With government-backed subsidies, modern facilities, and low pricing, the scheme promises both affordability and quality living standards.
