Greater Noida: First-Time Homebuyers Get Opportunity in Integrated Township; 10,000 Flats Planned
Greater Noida has emerged with big news for homebuyers planning to live close to their workplace. The Integrated Industrial Township, Greater Noida Limited (IITGNL), developed under the Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), has launched its first-ever group housing scheme.
Under this initiative, multi-storey residential societies will be developed on four large plots, bringing more than 10,000 flats into the market. This marks the first residential group housing project within the IITGNL township.
One of the key highlights of the township is its Live–Work–Play concept, which integrates residential spaces, workplaces and commercial areas within a single campus. The model is expected to significantly reduce commuting time for thousands of employees and promote the idea of “walk to work”.
Industrial activity in IITGNL has been growing rapidly. More than 26 major companies have already invested in the township, leading to a steady increase in the workforce. With rising demand for housing, the authority has decided to introduce group housing plots for the first time.
As part of the scheme, four group housing plots ranging from 34,573 sq metres to 93,905 sq metres will be allotted through e-auction. The residential complexes developed on these plots will offer modern amenities to residents. The township already has world-class infrastructure, including power supply, water systems, internal roads and drainage networks.
Registration for the first group housing scheme of IITGNL began on February 2, and the last date to apply is February 23. The authority expects strong interest from real estate developers and investors.
IITGNL CEO Ravi Kumar NG said that the scheme will not only provide housing within the township for employees working in industrial units but will also help develop IITGNL as a fully integrated residential and industrial hub in the coming years. He added that the project will give Greater Noida a new identity as a smart city and an emerging industrial hub.
