Goa IDC Launches e-Auction for 20 Prime Industrial and 9 Commercial Plots

GIDC revises schedule for Verna Hello World Innovation and Research Park e-auction

Panaji: The Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) has revised the schedule for the e-auction of industrial plots at the Hello World Innovation and Research Park in Verna Industrial Estate. The corporation has issued corrigenda updating key dates and has also announced an online pre-bid meeting for interested bidders.The auction is being conducted under Auction ID No. GIDC 25-26-14 dated November 8, 2025 and will be hosted on the national government e-auction platform.

Corrigendum II dated January 5, 2026 announces that an online pre-bid meeting will be held for clarification of bidder queries related to eligibility, documentation, and auction procedures.

REVISED E-AUCTION SCHEDULE

Corrigendum I dated December 18, 2025 revises the following auction timelines:

• Last date for submission of bids: February 21, 2026 up to 18:00 hrs

• Evaluation of bids: February 23 to 28, 2026

• Live e-auction of plots: February 23 to 28, 2026

These dates replace the earlier schedule issued with the original auction notice.

PLOT SIZES AND DEVELOPMENT BLOCKS

The master plan consists of six development plots labelled HW-1 to HW-6. Each plot has an approximate area of 25,000 square metres. A separate land parcel of 29,900 square metres is earmarked for future development.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Hello World Innovation and Research Park is planned as a modern campus designed for technology-based and research-driven enterprises. The project proposes facilities for:

• research institutions

• startups

• deep-tech companies

• biotechnology and healthcare research units

• engineering and design services

The layout includes internal roads, green open spaces, landscaped buffers and a proposed skywalk, creating a pedestrian-friendly and sustainable environment.

PARTICIPATION PLATFORM

All auction and bidding activities will be conducted only through the government e-auction portal eauction.gov.in. Corrigenda and detailed documents are available on the official website of GIDC idc.goa.gov.in.

The project is expected to attract significant investment, create employment opportunities, and strengthen Goa’s position as a hub for innovation and research.
