The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has invited sealed bids from empanelled independent valuers for determining the reserve prices of various unsold residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial sites under its jurisdiction.
According to the public notice issued by GMADA, the valuation will be carried out for sites that have remained unsold in two or more previous auctions. The process will follow the provisions of the amended E-Auction Policy dated October 16, 2025.
GMADA plans to appoint three independent valuers for each site to ensure fair and transparent assessment of property values. The bidders must be empanelled with nationalized banks or the Income Tax Department and must not have been blacklisted by any such institutions for valuation work.
Interested and eligible valuers can obtain detailed bid documents and the list of unsold properties from the Estate Officer (Plots), GMADA, PUDA Bhawan, Sector 62, SAS Nagar (Mohali) during office hours. The same can also be downloaded from the official website — www.gmada.gov.in.
The last date for submission of bids is November 10, 2025, by 3:00 PM, and the bids will be opened the same day at 4:00 PM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

The Punjab government has begun the process of acquiring land for the massive 3,500-acre Aerotropolis township project near Chandigarh International Airport. The acquisition will be carried out under the Land Acquisition Act, 2013, covering Blocks E to J of the master plan.
Planned as a major extension of Aerocity Mohali, the Aerotropolis township will be developed as a modern urban hub featuring 8,600 residential plots ranging from 100 to 2,000 square yards, along with extensive commercial and institutional zones.
Land Pooling Option: Landowners offering 1 acre will receive 1,000 sq. yd. residential and 200 sq. yd. commercial plots.
GMADA (Greater Mohali Area Development Authority) has already issued tenders worth ₹509 crore for development works in Blocks B, C, and D.
The entire land acquisition process is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The upcoming township will include land from Bakarpur, Roorkee, Safipur, Matran, Manauli, Saini Majra, Chau Majra, and Chhat villages.
Once completed, the Aerotropolis project is expected to transform the Mohali region into a major residential, commercial, and institutional hub, creating new opportunities for investment and development.

Out of 144 properties offered, 72 were sold, with commercial sites drawing the highest bids. Aerocity and Sector 78 recorded the strongest response — showroom plots fetched up to ₹80 crore, well above their base prices.

Bidders must verify themselves using either OTP-based or Digital Signature Certificate (DSC)-based login.
Bidding can only be conducted using GPS-enabled devices.
NEFT/RTGS payments should be initiated at least 24 hours before the auction closes to ensure timely reconciliation and participation.
