DDA adds 393 more flats for government institutions under bulk purchase category; total scheme inventory now stands at 1,241 apartments
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has significantly expanded its flagship DDA Towering Heights at East Delhi Hub, Karkardooma Housing Scheme 2026 , announcing the addition of 393 more flats under the Bulk Purchase Category for eligible government departments and organizations.
The move comes months after the launch of the housing scheme on a First Come First Serve (FCFS) basis and increases the total number of flats available under the project from 848 units to 1,241 units .
Under the original scheme launched on January 3, 2026 , DDA had offered 741 Two-BHK flats for individual homebuyers and earmarked 107 flats for government institutions. Following the latest circular dated March 11, 2026 , another 393 flats have been added for bulk allotment, taking the institutional inventory to 500 flats .

The newly added 393 flats are available exclusively to eligible government entities under the bulk purchase category.
Eligible organizations include:
DDA has reiterated that a minimum purchase of 10 flats is mandatory for applications under the bulk purchase category.
Interested government organizations must submit their request to the Principal Commissioner (Housing), DDA.
Upon confirmation of availability, organizations will be required to deposit 10% of the total disposal cost as a booking amount to reserve the flats.
The allotment process will continue on a First Come First Serve (FCFS) basis.
In a major relief for institutional buyers, DDA has clarified that the cost of parking spaces has been excluded from the disposal price of the flats.
The decision follows directions issued by the competent authority in February 2026 and is expected to reduce the overall acquisition cost for bulk buyers.
The scheme continues to offer 741 Two-BHK apartments to retail buyers through DDA's online Awaas Portal.
According to DDA, the residential towers are already more than 90% complete .
