The Daman Municipal Council (DMC) has issued an auction notice for renting out shops located at the Fish Market & Shopping Complex near Char Rasta, Nani Daman, and the Fish & Vegetable Market Complex near the PWD Office, Moti Daman.
The online e-auction will be conducted from October 7, 2025, to November 7, 2025, through the portal https://smcdnh.in/auction/. Interested bidders must register online by paying a non-refundable auction fee of ₹5,000 and submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹25,000 in FDR form at the DMC office before the close of the auction.

All participants must upload identity proof, PAN, Aadhaar, passport, declaration, and bank details.
Subleasing or transfer of shops is strictly prohibited.
Shops will be allotted on a rental basis for three years, with rent escalation of 5% every year.
Successful bidders must execute a rent deed with the Council after payment of the deposit.
Any violation of conditions, subletting, or engagement in illegal activities will result in immediate termination of lease.
Common toilets will be operated by NGOs on a “pay and use” basis with a monthly charge of ₹500 per shop.
