Mumbai: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced the launch of its new housing initiative, ‘My First Choice – My Preferred CIDCO Home’, offering 1,248 residential units across various nodes of Navi Mumbai, close to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport.
The scheme includes newly constructed homes and also provides a fresh opportunity to 1,583 applicants who were earlier allotted only housing options under CIDCO’s October 13, 2024 housing scheme, officials said.
As part of the process, CIDCO has opened a KYC registration window from December 11, 2025, to January 19, 2026, during which eligible applicants must complete the required formalities to participate in the allotment.
The housing units are primarily meant for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Lower Income Group (LIG) applicants, with 1 BHK and 2 BHK flats on offer.
The homes are located across multiple CIDCO-developed nodes, including Vashi, Bamandongri, Kharkopar, Kharghar, Taloja, Mansarovar, Khandeshwar, Panvel and Kalamboli, providing connectivity to key infrastructure and transit corridors.
CIDCO has also announced that applicants who were allotted housing options under the October 2024 scheme will be given a 10-day window to reconfirm or finalise their house selection under the new ‘My First Choice’ initiative.
Officials said the scheme is aimed at offering greater flexibility and choice to homebuyers while strengthening affordable housing supply in Navi Mumbai.
