Bengaluru Customs Airport Electronics Auction 2026

Bengaluru Customs (Airport) has announced the auction of 227 electronic goods through MSTC, inviting registered buyers to participate in the online bidding process scheduled for December 30, 2025.

According to officials, the auction will include a wide range of electronic items such as mobile phones, smartwatches, iPads, and one television set, which were seized or left unclaimed at the airport premises. The sale will be conducted through the MSTC e-auction platform, ensuring transparency and compliance with government norms.

Only MSTC-registered bidders will be eligible to participate in the auction. Interested buyers have been advised to carefully review the auction catalogue, terms and conditions, and inspection details available on the MSTC portal before placing their bids.

Customs officials said the initiative aims to dispose of accumulated goods in a time-bound manner while generating revenue for the government. Successful bidders will be required to complete payment and take delivery of the goods within the stipulated time frame as per auction rules.

The auction, bearing Auction Number MSTC/BLR/ADDITIONAL COMMISSIONER OF CUSTOMS AIR CARGO COMPLEX DIVISION/1/BENGALURU/25-26/50088, will be conducted under the O-General Auction category. The catalogue was made available for viewing on December 15, 2025.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Physical inspection of the auctioned material is scheduled from December 16 to December 29, 2025. The e-auction will commence on December 30, 2025, at 12 noon and will conclude at 4.30 pm on the same day. As per the catalogue, the auction status is currently marked as Not Activated. The auction will feature an auto-extension time of eight minutes.

The auction will be conducted in Indian Rupees (INR). It is not an auto pre-bid EMD auction, and no document uploads are required. Successful bidders will be required to deposit the post-bid EMD within seven days from the date of acceptance of the lot, unless otherwise specified. The full or balance payment must be made within 21 days from the date of acceptance.

A late payment penalty of 1% per week, along with applicable GST, will be levied in case of delays. Delivery of the material must be taken within 30 days of the issue of the delivery order, failing which ground rent at 1% per week plus GST will be applicable.

How To Register for Buyers 

1) Go to MSTC Ecommerce Portal
2) Select Search Auction

 

3) Click Upcoimg Auction , Select All Section , 
4) Click -> Filter by Category -> Select All Electronics Items.
5) Click -> Filter by Office -> Select Bangalore Office
6) Check Auction ID - 50088

7) New Registration should be done, video guidance is provided too.
8) User name password is generated, buyers need to pay NEFT or RTGS instructions is provided.
9) Once the payment is completed, the buyer’s account will be activated and redirected to the registered bidder’s dashboard. On the auction day, bidders can log in to the website and participate in the purchase through the MSTC e-commerce portal.
