The Belagavi City Corporation (Belagavi Mahanagara Palike) has announced an online e-auction of multiple municipal properties for the financial year 2025–26. The auction will be conducted through the Karnataka Public Procurement Portal (KPPP), according to an official notification issued on January 2, 2026.
The e-auction covers commercial shops, residential sites and other municipal properties located across various wards of Belagavi city. The properties will be auctioned on an “as-is-where-is” basis.

As per the notification, more than 80 properties have been listed for auction. The properties vary in size, ranging from around 32 sq. metres to over 300 sq. metres, with property-specific upset prices and Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) amounts.
Each property has been assigned a DMA / Auction Indent Number, and details such as ward number, extent, upset price and EMD are provided in the official auction schedule.
Interested bidders must register on the KPPP portal and complete the online bidding process. Payment of the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) is mandatory and must be made through the portal. Bids submitted without EMD will be considered invalid.
The notification also states that Right of First Refusal (RoFR) is applicable to certain properties. Eligible existing occupants will be allowed to retain the property by matching the highest bid amount, subject to the terms and conditions laid down by the corporation.
The Belagavi City Corporation has reserved the right to accept or reject any bid or cancel the auction without assigning reasons. Successful bidders will be required to pay the balance amount within the prescribed time limit.
