BDA Commences e-Auction for 90 Residential and Commercial Sites Across Bengaluru

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has commenced the e-auction process for 90 residential and commercial corner and intermediate sites across various layouts in Bengaluru. The notification was published in The Times of India, Bengaluru edition, under the Government of Karnataka.

The auction is being conducted in accordance with the Bangalore Development Authority’s Disposal of Corner Sites, Intermediate Sites and Other Auctionable Sites Rules, 1984, and all properties are offered on an “As Is, Where Is” basis.

  • Date of commencement of e-Auction: January 5, 2026

  • Last date to express interest: January 19, 2026 (up to 5:00 PM IST)

  • Live bidding (Site Nos. 1–45): January 21, 2026 from 11:00 AM IST

  • Live bidding (Site Nos. 46–90): January 22, 2026 from 11:00 AM IST

  • Final bid closing: January 23, 2026 up to 5:00 PM IST

  • Delta time extension: 5 minutes

Total Number of Sites

A total of 90 sites have been notified in this e-auction, comprising residential, commercial, corner and intermediate plots of varying sizes.

Locations Covered

The 90 sites are spread across multiple BDA-developed layouts, including:

  • Arkavathy Layout – Jakkur, Rachenahalli, Sampigehalli and Srirampura blocks

  • Sir M. Visvesvaraya (Sir M.V.) Layout – Ramasandra, Kengeri, Ullalu, Sonnenahalli and Nagadevanahalli

  • Banashankari 6th Stage – Turahalli, Lingadeeranahalli and Hemmigepura (corner and engineering sites)

  • JP Nagar 9th Phase

  • Anjanapura Township

  • FE of Anjanapura, 5th G Block (Gollahalli)

  • RMV Layout – Geddalahalli and Bhoopasandra

  • HBR Layout – Kadugondanahalli and Hennur

  • East of NGEF, Banaswadi

  • Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout

Bid and Payment Details

  • Minimum bid increment: ₹500 per sq. metre

  • EMD: ₹4 lakh per site

  • Initial bid prices: As notified individually for each site

  • Minimum two bidders required per site; single-bidder sites will be rejected

Eligibility and Conditions

  • Only Indian citizens are eligible

  • Joint registration allowed only for blood relations

  • Mandatory documents include PAN, Aadhaar and address proof

  • Successful bidders must remit 25% of the bid amount within 72 hours

  • Balance 75% payable within 45 days from allotment

  • BDA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or withdraw sites

Public Advisory

BDA has advised bidders to inspect sites physically before bidding and cautioned the public against agents or middlemen. Participation is permitted only through the official Karnataka Public Procurement Portal (KPPP).
