The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has opened an e-Auction for 239 residential and commercial corner/intermediate lands across multiple layouts — offering an opportunity for citizens to build their future on officially auctioned BDA sites.

Eligibility & Auction Terms (Highlights)

  • Bidders must be Indian Citizens.

  • Acceptable identity proof: Voter ID, Driving Licence, Passport, or Aadhaar — attested by a Gazetted Officer / Notary / Embassy (for NRIs).

  • Joint registration allowed for spouse, sons, or unmarried daughters (with relationship proof).

  • Uploading PAN card and photo identity is mandatory.

  • Earnest Money Deposit (EMD): ₹4.00 lakh per site + e-Auction fee.

  • 25% of final bid amount must be paid within 72 hours of receipt of BDA’s advice letter (after deducting EMD). Failure to do so results in forfeiture of EMD.

  • Balance 75% to be remitted within 45 days of issue of allotment letter.

  • Single bidder bidding for a site will be rejected; a minimum of two bidders per site is required.

  • Bidding is strictly via the official e-Auction portal — contact with middlemen is discouraged.

  • Bidders are strongly recommended to physically verify site location, road width, and surroundings before bidding; no cancellations/substitutions will be entertained once awarded.
