Bank Issues Notice to Auction Jayam Ravi’s Chennai Home Over Outstanding Loan

Tamil actor Jayam Ravi (Ravi Mohan) has once again grabbed headlines, this time due to financial issues surrounding his property. Following ongoing divorce proceedings with his wife, his Chennai residence in Injambakkam has now come under scrutiny from bank authorities.

According to reports, Jayam Ravi had taken a substantial home loan from a private bank. However, he allegedly failed to pay the monthly EMIs, and the outstanding dues, including interest, have reportedly crossed ₹7.6 crore. Despite multiple reminders sent by the bank, there was no response from the actor. As a result, under the SARFAESI Act (Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act), the bank has issued notices to initiate the auction of his property.

This development adds to a string of personal and financial challenges for the actor. Recently, allegations were also made against him by the production house Touch Gold Universal, claiming he had taken an advance of ₹6 crore for two films but did not fulfill his commitments. Additionally, Jayam Ravi is reportedly dealing with his divorce proceedings and has been linked to a new relationship, adding further attention to his personal life.

The actor’s Chennai home may be auctioned if the outstanding loan is not settled, marking another significant chapter in his ongoing public and financial struggles.
