Kurnool: The Kurnool Traffic Police Station has announced a public auction of unclaimed and seized vehicles lying in its premises for a long time.
The auction is being conducted under the directions of Vikrant Patil and J. Babu Prasad, and will be supervised by Inspector S. Mansooruddin.
According to officials, a total of 33 vehicles, including 31 two-wheelers and 2 auto-rickshaws, which were seized in various cases and remain unclaimed, will be auctioned as per the provisions of law and court orders.
The vehicles are related to Crime No. 257/2025 and have been kept at the traffic police station premises for an extended period without any claims from owners.
The auction will be held on April 14, 2026, starting from 10:00 AM, at the Kurnool Traffic Police Station located in Kothapeta.
Interested participants must carry valid identification documents such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, or other ID proofs to take part in the bidding process. An Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹1,000 is mandatory for participating in the auction of each vehicle.
Officials stated that successful bidders must complete full payment on the same day and take delivery of the vehicle immediately. The vehicles will be available for inspection from 9:00 AM on the day of the auction.
Police authorities clarified that all decisions taken during the auction process will be final. The public and any potential vehicle owners are encouraged to make use of this opportunity.
