Amritsar Rural Police has announced a public vehicle auction that will be held on May 22, 2026, at Police Line Daburji, Amritsar Rural. The auction will begin at 11 AM, giving members of the public an opportunity to purchase motorcycles, cars and other vehicles at comparatively lower prices through an open bidding process.
According to officials, a total of 185 vehicles will be put up for auction. This includes around 140 motorcycles and other two-wheelers, along with 45 cars and larger vehicles. The vehicles will be sold to the highest bidders through a transparent open auction system conducted by the police department.
Officials stated that the entire process will be carried out as per rules and under proper supervision to ensure fairness for all participants. People interested in taking part in the auction have been advised to reach the venue on time and carry all required identification and supporting documents.
Police authorities also said that several vehicles included in the auction are reportedly in good condition, which has already generated interest among buyers and used vehicle dealers. Such public auctions generally attract large crowds as buyers often get vehicles at prices lower than market rates.
