Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC), a Government of Karnataka undertaking, has announced an e-auction for the sale of scrap vehicles located across various divisional stores under its Mysore Operations and Maintenance Circle. The auction will be conducted entirely online through the Karnataka e-Procurement Portal www.eproc.karnataka.gov.in, ensuring transparency and accessibility for all eligible bidders.
The auction includes a wide variety of decommissioned vehicles such as:
Lorries
Jeeps
Trucks
Basket Cranes
Diesel Trucks
Matador Vans
More than 70 vehicles are available, each listed with a floor price and vehicle registration number. The base prices begin from ₹20,000 and go up to ₹4.79 lakh, depending on the vehicle's type and condition. All vehicles are sold on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis.

Interested bidders must participate through the official Karnataka e-Procurement Portal. Submission of bids, uploading of required documents, and payment of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) must be done exclusively via the portal.
To be eligible, participants must fulfill both technical and financial criteria:
Must be an individual, proprietary firm, partnership firm, or registered company.
Must upload valid PAN, GST certificate, and business registration/license.
Declaration of non-default and non-blacklisting on ₹200 stamp paper.
Average annual turnover during the past 3 financial years (FY 2021–22 to 2023–24) must equal or exceed the auction value.
Must have liquid assets equivalent to at least 25% of the auction value, certified by a nationalized or scheduled bank.
EMD is mandatory and must be paid online before bidding.
Full payment, including applicable taxes, must be made within 30 days from the issuance of the sale order.
Delay beyond 30 days attracts a penalty of 1% per week, up to a maximum of 2 weeks.
Non-payment or non-lifting of vehicles will lead to forfeiture of EMD and blacklisting for 3 years.
Vehicles can be inspected at their respective divisional stores during working hours before bidding.
No guarantee is provided for the vehicle's condition or registration status.
Bidders must arrange for transport, RTO transfer, and clearance at their own expense.
Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of civil courts in Mysuru.
Bidders from countries sharing a land border with India must be registered with the competent authority.
For hazardous items (e.g., batteries, oil), Pollution Control Board certification is required.
