Scheme Performance
- The Shramik Awas Yojana saw the sale of 23 flats within just a few hours of launch.
- Government sources report that 715 flats were booked under the Sabka Ghar Housing Scheme.
- Locations like Sirsapur, Narela, and Loknayakpuram are witnessing high demand, particularly following the inauguration of the Rithala-Narela-Kundli Metro Rail Corridor, which has significantly improved connectivity.
Focus on Narela
- 700 EWS Flats for Workers:
Under this initiative, 700 affordable flats have been developed in Narela, operating on a first-come, first-served basis. These flats cater to building and construction workers registered with the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (DBOCWWB).
- Urban Development:
With the active leadership of the DDA Chairman and Lieutenant Governor, the DDA is working to transform Narela into an affordable housing hub while also promoting its development as an educational center.
