Introduction of Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) E-Auction:

The Chandigarh Housing Board (CHB) on Tuesday started e- bidding for 98 commercial and residential properties across different sectors.

17 residential properties — which will be sold on a freehold basis — and 81 commercial properties — which will be sold on a leasehold basis — are up for grabs. Among the properties on offer is a two-bed-room flat in Sector-51 at a reserve price of ₹92.78 lakh. Other than these, there are EWS category flats and category-4 flats on offer in Manimajra.

Bids may be submitted at https://etenders.chd.nic.in. until January 15, 10am. In the auction, which would take place on the same day, built-up dwelling units would be assigned to the tallest eligible bidder.

There will be no GST applicable on the consideration/premium of the unit.

Property inspections

• Commercial sites for interested buyers can be viewed on Wednesdays. Residential units can be inspected on Saturdays from 10 am – 5 pm.
• To help the prospective buyers identify the built-up units, stickers have been pasted on each unit and site offices have been provided at different locations with a view to assisting them to carry out an inspection.
• The units, site offices with their address and officials contact details you can find at website www. chbonline. in.
• Bidding candidate must be above 18 years, in any state of our country. NRIs can also make bids.
• To participate in the e-tender process, a valid e-mail ID, mobile number and digital signature are required.
